Well it’s been a very interesting December so far, for the first time the shop hosted its own sewing lesson, we have now to date ran two get to know your overlock courses, 1;1 overlock course and a get to know your sewing machine, all with great feedback and ideas to make things better, we also started to look more ahead into 2017 for the lesson and have started to book lesson into March 2017.

January sees two very exciting courses be held the first on the 3^rd Jan is the Start tailoring course with an award winning tailor, then on the 4^th January there is our beginners guide to patch work and quilting, these are all run as a 5 week course but we have scaled them down so you can pick and play with the patchwork each week is run as a single day however if you would like to you can book on the whole series, The tailoring course is run as a block 5 week course, but we do understand than 5 weeks is hard to commit too so we have been able to split this down to a two week commitment course so you can book on for two weeks at a time. Which we hope makes it a little more convenient for you all.

Bernina

We also welcomed into the shop two new Bernina’s the B770qe and the B570qe, these as I am sure you know are great machines both design for patchwork and quilting the B770qe has such a huge arm it can handle a large quilt with ease, so if you are looking for a new machine and you have a Bernini in your heart come in and have a demo on them.

Sewing Machine Discounts.

We have also started to sell off some of our display range in these are in our Pfaff Section, these machines have only been used on our display section so they have very limited sewing time, they would have been used for less than 1hr in it its life. Have a look.

We have decided to closed on Christmas Day and Boxing day. But we will be open on the following dates

Tuesday 27^th – 30^th December 10.00am – 3.00pm

Saturday 31^st December 9.00am – 1.00pm

January 1^st Closed

January 2^nd 10.00am – 3.00pm

January 3^rd 9.00am – 5.00pm and then so on
