Give your sewing machine a dedicated home, with room to spread out and storage close to hand. The Horn Super Q MK2 sewing cabinet combines an extending work surface, a three-position air lift and a mobile drawer unit in one versatile workspace.

Open it up for quilting, dressmaking and larger projects, then fold the extensions away when you’ve finished. It’s a practical choice for anyone who wants more support around their machine and a tidier sewing space.

More room for your fabric

Working on a quilt or a bulky garment is easier when your fabric has somewhere to rest. The Super Q MK2’s rear extension supports more of your project behind the needle, helping reduce the pull of fabric hanging over the edge.

Side extensions provide additional space for preparing pieces and keeping essentials nearby. Double gate legs support the rear extension, while the right-hand leaf has support from the cabinet door below.

You can open the extra surfaces as needed, so smaller sewing jobs don’t require the whole cabinet to be extended.

Move between flatbed, free-arm and storage positions

The Horn Maxi Air-Lifter uses a push-down release mechanism to move your sewing machine between three positions:

• Flatbed: position the machine bed level with the surrounding worktop.
• Free-arm: raise the machine for access when sewing sleeves, cuffs and other tubular items.
• Storage: lower the machine into the cabinet when you’ve finished.

The air-assisted mechanism helps you change your setup without lifting the machine on and off a table each time.

Custom acrylic inset included

The Super Q MK2 includes one acrylic inset cut for your sewing machine model. This fills the space around the machine when you use it in the flatbed position, creating a continuous surface to support your fabric.

Please provide your machine’s exact make and model when ordering so the correct inset can be specified.

Storage that works around you

The mobile drawer unit sits to the left of your sewing position, keeping tools and accessories within reach. Its lockable top drawer provides secure storage for smaller essentials.

An additional extension piece increases the work surface above the drawers. You can also remove the drawer-top filler section when you would prefer more seating space.

Close away your sewing machine

The lockable bi-fold door folds back during use and closes over the machine storage area afterwards.

With the machine lowered, the supplied worktop filler covers the opening, giving you a useful surface for planning your next project or organising fabric.
