The thing that immediately stands out to me with the CX1e is the embroidery space. A lot of embroidery machines sound large on paper, but once you start hooping jackets, quilt panels or larger personalised items, you quickly run out of room. The CX1e genuinely feels spacious to work with.

The other standout feature for me is the positioning system. If you regularly embroider garments, pockets or quilt blocks, the LED pointer and two-point positioning save a huge amount of frustration.

I also think Brother have done a really good job with the screen. It feels much closer to embroidery software than a traditional machine interface.

If somebody came into the shop wanting a serious embroidery-only machine without stepping into commercial multi-needle pricing, this would absolutely be one of the machines I’d demonstrate.
